Ōhanga Rearea is an inclusion framework that provides structured guidance to organisations in their mission to whakamana | empower takatāpui and rainbow communities.
In our work in enacting this framework, we are inspired by the small but mighty rearea bird - which when nurtured, can achieve a great many things. For us, the rearea represents the needs and aspirations of our takatāpui and rainbow people, and we treasure the manu and all that it can teach us.
