Introductory Workshops

Get going with the Ōhanga Rearea framework through these introductory workshops. We will help your team gain familiarity with our approach to takatāpui and rainbow inclusion, and empower change at your organisation. Prices begin at $650 for up to fifteen participants, with discounted rates available for non-profit organisations, charities, and depending on availability. Larger workshops are available upon request.

Ōhanga Rearea - Introductory Workshop (90 mins)

A short, essential first step. This session introduces the Ōhanga Rearea framework through a presentation and guided reflection exercises. Learn about the broad range of opportunities to develop takatāpui and rainbow inclusion at your organisation.

Te Tiriti o Waitangi & Takatāpui Workshop (90 mins)

This workshop unpacks the relationship between Te Tiriti o Waitangi, takatāpuitanga, and rainbow community development. A valuable companion to the Ōhanga Rearea Introductory Workshop.

Essential Growth Pathways Workshops

These two-hour workshops are themed across the Ōhanga Rearea’s five essential growth pathways. Either select workshops based on the priorities of your organisation, or get in touch to organise a combined package which includes: two days of learning and development covering all five essential growth pathways workshops. Organisations that select a combined package will receive the Ōhanga Rearea Introductory Workshop and Te Tiriti o Waitangi & Takatāpui workshops at no additional cost.

Prices begin at $850 per workshop for up to 15 participants, with discounted rates available for non-profit organisations, charities, and depending on availability. Larger workshops are available on request.

Miro Workshop: Takatāpui and Rainbow Knowledge Foundations

This workshop introduces key takatāpui and rainbow inclusion concepts, and explores the “why” behind rainbow equity and inclusion. Methodological in framing, interactive in style, and broadly applicable across role types.

Kahikatea Workshop: Takatāpui and Rainbow Strategy & Action Planning

This hands-on co-design workshop empowers participants to build their own rainbow strategies and plans. Designed for senior leaders, human resources and people and culture professionals, diversity and inclusion advisors, and rainbow community leaders.

This workshops offers practical guidance on creating and sustaining rainbow and alliance groups and networks, and delivering inclusive engagement opportunities both online and in-person. Particularly useful for event managers, community and network organisers, and facilitators.

Clutch Workshop: Takatāpui and Rainbow Health & Wellbeing

This workshop is aimed at addressing rainbow health and wellbeing needs within organisations. Combining broad foundational approaches with co-design elements, this workshop will empower you to retain takatāpui and rainbow members at your organisation. Relevant for managers , supervisors, and people and culture professionals.
